He was inspired to do so after trekking to K2 basecamp early in his climbing career. The trek is remote, stunningly beautiful and passes the greatest concentration of 8000 metre peaks on earth. Everest basecamp is a justifiably popular destination. But we don't follow the masses up the standard trail. Our 3 passes trek takes the remote route to Everest, crossing 3 challenging but very achievable passes, and leaving the crowds behind. Additionally, we include a night at basecamp itself, with an actual Everest expedition, so you can immerse yourself in the vibrancy, tension and magnestism of Chomolungma, Mother Goddess of the Earth.
