Mountain Hardwear EV2 tent

The EV2 tent is legendary in high altitude mountaineering. Single skin, waterproof and breathable, they are surprisingly roomy due to the internal vestibule. They are absolutely bombproof, lightweight and realy high quality.

2 person (but can squeeze 3).

For high altitude and cold weather snow use only. They are not designed to keep out rain .

Note - while the conduit waterproofing on the tents is sound, the seam sealing has started to flake off. Not an issue at high altitude or extreme cold but should be re- seam sealed if planning to use it in warmer climates.

Designed to Ed Viesturs' specifications for a compact, light, strong, two-person tent, the EV2™ is purposefully designed for the rigors of high altitude expeditions. EV2's trim design fits on ledges, and its clip set-up aids high-wind pitches. TX07 PU fabric - a lightweight, strong, non-stretch laminate - stabilizes and strengthens when pitched, and Atlas Scandium XL poles add sturdiness while shaving weight. Interior zip and built in ventilation help frost management while integrated vestibule provides protection from the elements.
